Every Single One Of Us…Takes This For Granted…At Some Point…In Our Lives

In my last post…within the epilogue of that rambling…I…offered what seems to be on reflection…extremely…sound advice…if I do say so myself.😂

“Smile…laugh…rejoice…frolic…as much as you can…even when you don’t feel like it!”

It got me thinking…further…and…I thought a short continuation on a similar train of thought…could compliment the message in a supplementary way.

Have you ever looked at it like this?

One smile from you or I today…could literally be…everlasting.

That one seemingly…banal…routine…minuscule act…could start a genuine chain reaction…setting in motion…a lineage…which could survive and travel the world in it’s entirety…infinitely…forever moving…superseding us…long after we have checked out.

I’d say a smile was a pretty exhilarating commodity…personally.

The beauty of this post is that the fundamentals of cognitive neuroscience and human interaction need not be deciphered in order to elaborate or prove my claim.

We already have the most basic of examples within our day to day activities…ones…each of us can relate to in some way or another…which…is why I believe my timeless smile statement to be absolutely accurate and correct.

Something promoted to those on a daily basis in my soft tissue and neuromuscular rehabilitation clinic.

It’s like when walking through a shopping centre and somebody smiles at you…so you smile back.

You notice in the first place…and…smile back…because your current mindsets are aligned with one another…or…you harbor the ability of being prepared to allow the positive alignment to transition and take precedence over any negativity or conflict.

Just take the same scenario…walking through the same shopping centre…but this time…pissed off…negative…angry…annoyed…looking for trouble…not prepared to seek out the good…then…you will be drawn to and notice those seeking exactly the same in return.

The smiles…will be missed..no doubt about it.

We’ve all been there…in both scenarios…at different stages of our journeys.

A lot of the time…the difference between a good day and a bad day…is all down to the perception we choose to take…the perception…we are prepared…or not prepared…to take?

What’s received…is what we give out.

It’s the old cliched “ Do unto others” line…I guess.

We’re taught from being kids how easy a smile is to pass on…and the possibilities are genuinely endless…if you really do sit back and start to ponder it all.

Something we can start to lose track of though as we age…for many intrinsic and extrinsic different reasons.

There has been plenty of times throughout my life that a hard time has been softened by the warmth of a smile…from both giving and receiving…most noticeably …in moments where I’ve not felt like doing so…and it’s felt a struggle.

Can be priceless.

There will be good…bad along the way…but I’ve learnt it’s imperative to never allow that smile to fade…as…there will be situations which require it’s resiliency to overcome the task at hand.

A genuine staple…to overcoming many of the mistakes made on my path of growing into a man.

A truly powerful tool.

let’s just say…

I decide to smile at somebody right now walking down the street…which causes or prompts them to go and smile at somebody else at a bus stop.

That somebody else…then goes and smiles at a bus driver…who in turn…smiles at the rest of the passengers going about their days.

Just one of those passengers…may look at a person in a car next to them…sat in the traffic…and pass the smile on…as a direct result of their initial encounter when boarding.

The person in the car might be Bluetoothing a work call to somebody in another country…in an office…and that smile radiates through the tonicity of their voice in conversation…cuing the person in the office…to make 3 other people in their team…sat around them…smile.

Those 3 people could be on calls to 3 other people…in 3 other countries.

One of those people in the other countries…might have a Facebook account…and that incandescent conversion with it’s radiant tones…created…from one simple act in the street…thousands of miles away…could inspire them to spread a word of happiness…positivity…or even just another simple verbal smile.

That post then goes out to 3000 subscribers…causing a 1000 of them to smile…then share it…creating thousands and thousands of more people…all over the place…out and about their days…smiling at somebody in their street…who could smile…at somebody at a bus stop….who passes it on to a bus driver…who smiles at a passenger…who smiles at…etc..etc.

Once it’s started…it…genuinely could keep going…forever…travelling far and wide…and those examples I mention above…are all regular daily occurrences we have seen or been a part of ourselves.

I believe if positive prosperity….is to be obtained…if it’s something we truly want…and are prepared to work hard for…then…smiles have to be infectious…and if you are prepared to receive…you will….be prepared to pass on…just as others will do the same in return.

So why not start a chain reaction yourself…right now?

The individual you make smile…may even currently be in the mindset of believing…they had nothing…to ever smile about in the first place…questioning if it’s all even worth it.

It’s the small things…that add up in my experience so far.

Never underestimate the power of positivity…negativity…and brief human interaction…we never know where they could end up…or what their effects could be.

I’m sure you already know what my ending statement is though…

Smile…my friends😀
